Mint Lemonade

Summer Drink

Here’s a refreshing and simple recipe for Mint Lemonade, perfect for a sunny day and great for involving kids in the kitchen!
  • Ingredients:
  1. 3 lemons, juiced
  2. 1 lime, juiced
  3. 5-6 tbsp caster sugar (adjust to taste)
  4. 4 fresh mint sprigs (optional)
  5. Tap water or sparkling water, to top up
  • Method:
Mix Juices and Sugar:
In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, lime juice, and caster sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add Water and Ice:
Fill the pitcher with plenty of ice, then top up with about 1 liter of tap water or sparkling water. Stir well.
Adjust Sweetness:
Taste the lemonade and add more sugar if needed, stirring until fully dissolved.
Add Mint (Optional):
If using, add the mint sprigs to the pitcher and give it a gentle stir.
Serve and Enjoy:
Pour the lemonade into glasses and serve chilled.
