- Ingredients:
- 1 Ham Bone
- (3) 14 1/2 oz cans chicken broth
- (2) 15 oz cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- (1) 28 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- Carrots, chopped
- 1 or 2 onions, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Oregano, basil, salt & pepper to taste
- 1 or 2 bay leaves
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups ditalini pasta (dry)
Instructions:
- Combine Ingredients: In a slow cooker, add the ham bone, 2 cans of chicken broth, cannellini beans, tomato sauce, celery, carrots, onions, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and bay leaves.
- Cook: Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 8-10 hours.
- Prepare Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, boil the ditalini pasta separately.
- Finish Up: Add the cooked pasta to the soup and stir. Use the reserved can of chicken broth to adjust the consistency if needed. Let sit for about 30 minutes before serving.
