  • For the Chicken:

 

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 680 grams boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

 

  • For the Penne:

 

  • 455 grams penne pasta, cooked and drained
  • 10 grams fresh parsley, chopped
  • 25 grams Parmesan cheese, shredded

 

  • For the Alfredo Sauce:

 

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 480 milliliters milk
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • 55 grams Parmesan cheese, shredded

 

  • Instructions:
  1. Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the cubed chicken, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until softened. Stir in half of the flour, followed by the remaining half. Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the sauce thickens. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Incorporate the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  3. Assemble and Serve: In a large bowl, toss the cooked penne pasta with the creamy Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and mix thoroughly. Stir in the fresh parsley and remaining Parmesan cheese. Serve warm and savor the symphony of flavors!
