Cheeseburger Dip

A Mouthwatering Dip that Brings the Taste of a Cheeseburger to Your Party Platter

  • Ingredients:

For the Dip:
– 8 slices bacon
– ¾ pound lean hamburger meat
– 1 yellow onion, finely diced
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
– ½ cup sour cream
– 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
– ½ cup Monterey Jack cheese
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
– Salt and pepper, to taste

For Garnish:
– Chopped fresh parsley
– Dill pickles, diced

  • Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. Cook the Bacon:
– In a pan or skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy.
– Drain the bacon on paper towels and crumble it once it’s cool enough to handle.

3. Prepare the Meat Mixture:
– In the same skillet, add the hamburger meat and diced onion. Cook together, breaking the meat apart with a wooden spoon until it’s cooked through, about 5 minutes.
– Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Remove from heat and drain any excess fat if necessary.

4. Combine Ingredients:
– In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat mixture with the softened cream cheese, sour cream, half of the shredded cheeses, Worcestershire sauce, and crumbled bacon.
– Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix everything well.

5. Bake the Dip:
– Transfer the mixture to a baking pan or skillet.
– Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
– Bake for 15 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.

6. Garnish and Serve:
– Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and diced dill pickles.
– Serve hot with potato chips.
